What happened
Devon Guisherd, 27, was killed during a Philadelphia SWAT attempt to serve a warrant at Northbrook Apartments on July 22, 2015. Police said Guisherd fired at an officer during a confrontation inside an apartment, hitting the officer's ballistic vest. The officer returned fire, killing him. Police had been seeking Guisherd in connection with the homicide of pregnant Megan Doto; he had not been tried or convicted of that accusation. Contemporary CBS reporting documented the wounded officer and the attempted arrest.
