What happened

Andre Dontrell Williams, 26, died after Oklahoma City police officers shot him at a residence near Northeast 24th Street and Lottie Avenue on July 22, 2015. Officers were investigating a reported sexual assault and said Williams hid beneath a bed. Police claimed he emerged holding a knife, ignored orders to drop it, and moved aggressively toward an officer. Officers used Tasers before all four opened fire with their guns; Williams died at the scene. KOCO and a later APM review detailed the combination of Taser use and lethal gunfire. The assault allegation, officers' reconstruction and any eventual charging review must remain distinct, as the reviewed material did not establish a conviction of an involved officer.
